Pros

Detailed Info Can Be Very Legible-
The primary perceived benefit of instruments like PowerPoint is that they produce an extremely legible document.  Some instructors struggle with producing legible notes on the blackboard and the whiteboard.  PowerPoint is often better because of this legibility. This is especially true for complex diagrams, photographs, and detailed information; PowerPoint can excel in such situations.
Can Incorporate digital images, video clips, and other media-
Powerpoint also allows one to use all kinds of media such as sound, video clips that may pertain to a lesson, and photos. All of these can enhance a lesson to help students gain a better understanding of what is being taught, or just to keep their attention.
Can Be Shared Electronically-
Being able to share powerpoint electronically has many advantages. Teachers don’t have to make copies of lessons, thus saving paper. They can also be archived easier for future use, or even modified for different classrooms. Teachers can also share them more easily among other teachers.
